Residents of Stockton-on-Tees will once again have the opportunity to see the high street come to life, as Stockton Sparkles returnes for another year. The event will take place on Thursday 23 November 2023 - and will feature a host of live acts and entertainment, along with the Christmas lights switch-on.
The event attracts thousands of people. And due to the large number of attendees, safety and efficiency challenges need to be overcome by the event organisers, Stockton Borough Council. That's why they use an Eemits short-term hire to manage crowd control and improve event efficiency.
On this occasion, they've opted for 24 radios and 24 earpieces to make everything runs as smoothly as possible. The devices will be used by staff members located throughout the high street, and as all the radios are on our own hire frequency, the teams don't have to worry about programming or coverage capabilities.
